The bad boy in the class is defiantly Bruichladdich. With their totally cool bottle design and their new way of thinking, they really brought a younger expression into the old whisky world. The Scottish Barley is a NAS bottle, but I was told that it's about 5 years old. So it's pretty young, but don't let that fool you. It's already a grown up potent man.

The nose is orange marmalade, lemon and vanilla. Floral and fruity with a hint of sea air, that I love above all.

The taste got a nice dry heat to it, with barley sugar, candied fruit and the orange coming through once again.

The finish is medium long with black pepper and sweet malt
