Last year Bruichladdish released its new Port Charlotte and this time released it as an NAS bottle. The previous was 10 years old. I was told, that this one should be around 5 years old.

The rubber peat smoke slaps you in the face, when you’re put your nose to the glass, closely followed by citrus, lime and some fruity sweetness.

The oily and buttery heartwarming taste is very intense and bald, with saltwater, white pepper and wet bonfire smoke.

The long finish slowly fades from white pepper into a smoky fruit taste.

Great stuff and you got to love the bottle and tin tube design from this series.
