Maker's Mark's Private Barrel Selection Program is finally here. It was a long time coming, but they made it happen.

The great thing about the Private selection program is you are getting a single barrel of Maker’s 46 and at cask strength. Not only is it Maker’s 46, the buyer gets to pick the type of finishing staves used for the single barrel, making it their own unique barrel of bourbon. There are 5 different staves to pick from and all have different flavors.

- Oaked American Pure 2
- Seared French Cuvee
- Maker’s 46
- Roasted French Mocha
- Toasted French Spice

With 5 different finishing staves and 10 staves to put in for the finishing, there are so many different possibilities with these single barrels. All barrels will be very unique.

Nose: Brown sugar, honey, dates, baked apples, and a lot of oak.

Palate: Bandy corn, maple syrup, pie crust, oak, and a little bit of peanuts.

Finish: Nice and long. Oak and sugared dates
