Rowan's Creek is a product of the Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, which is home to other great bourbons such as Noah's Mill which is known to be Rowan's older brother. Noah's Mill is aged longer, said to be around 15 year and bottled at 114 proof, where Rowan's Creek is around 12 years and 100.1 proof. Rowan's Creek took home a gold medal in the 2011 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Rowan's Creek is one of my favorite small batch bourbons. It is packed with flavor and the nose on it is incredible. For me this is the perfect everyday sipper.

Nose: Peach pie, pepper, light cinnamon, caramel and toasted wood.

Palate: Sweet caramel, vanilla cream, pepper, cedar, mint, and fruit pie.

Finish: Nice medium finish. Candy corn, pepper, mint and light oak.
