Colour:

Light shining amber.

Nose:

Initial bourbon, but not the typical perfume bourbon scent – just the sweet hint of a vanilla milk candy. German laddies – like me – might be reminded of “Werther’s Echte” a toffee from my childhood. In addition to that, there is an initial hint of smoke. After a while the whisky gets a fresher fruity scent.

Palate:

This whisky is full of flavour. There is light smoke, an aromatic sweet fruitiness mixed with vanilla and malty tastes. A very elegant and mature tasting whisky.

Finish:

The finish is long, very long. I like that. The flavours you had on your palate stay in your mouth. Those fading flavours are accompanied by some spicy notes and a taste that felt like brown sugar.
