BenRiach Sherry Wood 12 yrs is a natural colour (and what a colour I might add) non chill filtered whisky matures in… Yeah, you already guessed it, didn’t you? That’s right; Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez sherry butts.

Nose:
Goes without saying; big black sherry’s upfront, raisins, dark chocolate and old tanned leather. I’m in, I’m defiantly all in.

Palate:
Thick and creamy. Fruity with black plums, vanilla, cinnamon and black pepper dancing the old jitterbug on your tongue.

Finish:
Long, dry and fruity, with a spicy hot blanket to wrap around you, towards the end.

Very sipperable (Is that even a word? Do I even care? and who are doing this voice-over?) with just the right amount of spices to make it interesting.
